Privacy
Short version: your files stay on your device.
Your files and data
Every Scrub Tools tool runs as JavaScript in your browser. The files you open and the text you paste are processed in that browser tab. They are not uploaded, stored on a server, or seen by us. When you close the tab, they are gone.
Network requests
The pages load their own HTML, CSS and JavaScript from this site. The only other request a tool page makes is the optional Pro unlock: when you press "Unlock Pro", your license key (and nothing else) is sent to Gumroad's license API to check it. Gumroad's own privacy policy covers that request and your purchase. The home page also reads this site's own catalog file to list the tools.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising or third-party analytics scripts. If you unlock Pro, the browser remembers that in local storage on your device so you do not have to enter the key again. Clearing your site data removes it.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. That never includes your files, because they are never sent.
Honest limits
The Pro unlock is checked in your browser, so it is a convenience lock rather than strong copy protection. It does not collect anything about you to make it work.
