Email List Cleaner
Paste a list of email addresses or open a CSV, and get back a tidy list with a status for every address: ok, fixed, invalid, role, disposable or duplicate. Common domain typos like gmial.com and hotmial.com are corrected. It checks the format only and never contacts any mail server, so your list stays on your device.
Gmail ignores dots and anything after a plus sign, so j.doe+news@gmail.com and jdoe@gmail.com reach the same inbox. With this on, the later ones are marked duplicate. Addresses are not rewritten.
How it works and privacy
Each address is trimmed and lowercased, known domain typos are corrected, the format is checked against standard email rules, and the address is compared with built-in lists of role names and throwaway domains. No mail server is contacted. The page is plain HTML and JavaScript that runs on your device: your data is read and processed in this browser tab and is never uploaded, stored on a server or shared. There are no tracking cookies. The only network request this page can make is the optional Pro license check, which sends just your license key to Gumroad.
How to use
- Paste your addresses, or open a CSV and pick the email column.
- Choose what to remove: duplicates, and optionally invalid, role or disposable addresses.
- Press Clean list and review the status counts.
- Press Download CSV. From a CSV you get your original columns back with the email cleaned, plus email_status and email_note.
Free and Pro

Questions
Does this check whether an email address really exists?
No. It checks the format, fixes common typos and flags risky types, but it does not contact mail servers, so it cannot tell whether a mailbox is active. That is also why nothing about your list leaves your browser.
What is a role address and should I remove it?
A role address belongs to a job or department rather than a person, like info@, sales@ or support@. They often go to several people or nobody, and some email services discourage mailing them. Keep them if they are real customers who signed up.
Which typos does it fix?
Common misspellings of big providers, such as gmial.com, gmai.com, gmail.co, hotmial.com, yahooo.com and outlok.com. Every fix is marked "fixed" with a note showing the original domain, so you can check it.
What does the Gmail dot and plus option do?
Gmail ignores dots and anything after a plus sign in the part before the @, so these all reach one inbox. With the option on, later variants are marked as duplicates. It is off by default because the addresses are technically different.
Is my email list uploaded or stored?
No. All checks run in your browser. The list is not sent anywhere and is gone when you close the tab.
